Inked Branches Out into Retail with SoHo Location
Quadra Media’s Inked Magazine is expanding into retail with a lease in SoHo for what will be its flagship store. Lee & Associates NYC’s Dennis Someck, Justin Myers, Zacahary Steinberg and Aidan Velle arranged a 3,155-square-foot deal for Inked at 285 Lafayette St. The term is eight years, and the store is expected to open next month.
“With contemporaries such as GQ and Vanity Fair, the team at Inked Magazine wanted a space in the center of Soho where they could be near other innovative retailers, the offices of cutting-edge companies and most importantly their client base,” said Someck.
Inked is moving to Soho from 12 W. 27th St., where it previously occupied an office space. Landlord 285 Lafayette Realty was represented by Albert Cohen at Centurion Realty.
