Industrious Takes Nearly 50K SF at KBS’ 500 W. Madison in Chicago
Newport Beach, CA-based KBS signed a new 46,500-square-foot lease with Industrious at 500 West Madison in Chicago. The workplace platform offers coworking space in more than 20 locations across the country, including seven in Chicago.
500 West Madison is a 40-story, Class A office tower, totaling 1.46 million square feet and is part of the KBS Real Estate Investment Trust III portfolio. It is Chicago’s largest LEED Gold-certified building, and was named BOMA’s Building of the Year twice. The West Loop office submarket building sits above Ogilvie Transportation Center, one of Chicago’s main train stations.
KBS’ Dan Park says “500 West Madison is an iconic property within the broader Chicago office market. The tower offers tenants an unparalleled lifestyle experience in the workplace, thanks to its onsite amenities, accessibility and premier location.”
CBRE’s Paul Reaumond, Ian Murphy and Mark Cassata represented the tenant. Cushman & Wakefield’s Wendy Katz, Matt Lerner and Barbara Schenberg advised the landlord.
