Industrial Specialist Cummings Joins Paine Wetzel

Industrial real estate expert Jim Cummings has joined Paine Wetzel as VP. Cummings brings an extensive track record in the South and West Suburban Chicago real estate markets, and will work to maintain and grow Paine Wetzel’s market presence.

Prior to joining Paine Wetzel, Cummings spent 15 years on the Chicago-area team of NKF and before that Grubb and Ellis, which merged with NKF in 2012. There, he focused on industrial and was recognized multiple years for contributions to the firm.

For Paine Wetzel as he did for NKF, Cummings specializes in the I-55/I-80 corridor and southside submarkets. He has extensive experience with manufacturing and distribution centers, as well as food grade facilities including cold-storage facilities.

His tenure in B2B publishing stretches back into the print era, and he has served as Editor in Chief on four national trade publications. Since 1999, Paul has volunteered as the newsletter editor of passenger rail advocacy groups (one national, one local).
