Industrial Powerhouse Kohn Joins Avison Team
Industry veteran Steven Kohn has joined Avison Young as a principal in the company’s Rosemont, Il office. He’s tasked with helping to grow Avison’s industrial real estate brokerage practice in Cook County and labor-related markets across Chicagoland, while also specializing in property transactions.
Kohn (pictured) brings 22 years’ commercial real estate brokerage experience in Chicago to Avison, most recently as an EVP with Colliers International. During his career, he has negotiated sales and leasing transactions spanning more than 26 million square feet of industrial space, with clients that have ranged from Panattoni to the Home Depot.
“Steve is a professional with a great work ethic and impeccable integrity,” said Danny Nikitas, managing principal of Avison’s Chicago office. “He sticks to it until the deal gets done. He will play an instrumental role in leading and expanding our rapidly-growing industrial brokerage practice in Cook County.”
