Industrial Midwest Experts Will Delve into What “Last-Mile” Really Entails

“Last-mile delivery” is a phrase that’s frequently bandied about in commercial real estate these days. The experts gathered for a panel on this subject at next week’s Connect Industrial Midwest event will explore what the phrase really means.

Moderated by Cushman & Wakefield’s Jason West, the “I’d Walk a Mile, The Last Mile: Logistics, Supply Chain and the Intersection of Retail & Industrial” discussion will hold forth on subjects ranging from last-mile real estate’s unique features to the fine points of underwriting e-commerce facilities. The conference is set for Wednesday, March 4 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, IL.

Joining West in the 40-minute discussion will be Walton Street Capital’s Jordan Calaguire, Crow Holdings Industrial’s Matt Kurucz, Dermody Properties’ Neal Driscoll and Duke Realty’s Susan Bergdoll.

Connect Midwest Industrial will also feature panels on cold storage and other specialty uses, financing, and high-level trends and forecasts. As is customary for Connect events, the conference will conclude with a networking cocktail reception.
