Inception Moves Forward on Second DTLA Medical Office Project

L.A.-based Inception Property Group has announced plans for a new seven-story, 151,146-square-foot outpatient medical office and senior living project at 1334-1356 South Flower St. in the South Park district of Downtown Los Angeles, just one-half block south of the Pico Metro Station.

Construction for the project is scheduled to begin in 2021, and it is expected to serve patients and residents starting in 2023. Inception is looking to meet strong demand from healthcare providers seeking DTLA locations.

According to Inception founder Peter Becronis, “For years now, the Downtown area has consistently added tens of thousands of new residents and jobs; however it remains categorized by the state as both a Medically Underserved Area as well as a Primary Care Shortage Area.”

This will be Inception’s second Downtown Los Angeles speculative healthcare development, the first being the Downtown West Medical campus in the nearby Pico-Union.
