IDV Begins Construction on 4M-SF South Belt Central Business Park

Investment & Development Ventures LLC (IDV) officially broke ground on South Belt Central Business Park, a 3.5-million-square-foot, speculative industrial business park in Houston’s south submarket. The first phase of the 214-acre development is anticipated to deliver in Q4 2020.

Situated at Cottingham and Beltway 8, the development straddles Harris and Fort Bend counties, and is less than three miles to SH 288. The project also offers close to a mile of frontage along Beltway 8.

Phase I will total 436,569 square feet, consisting of a 305,016-square-foot cross-dock building with trailer parking and a 131,553-square-foot, side-load building. James Foreman and Allison Bergmann with Cushman & Wakefield are handling leasing.

“We are pursuing various user types and size ranges, including large industrial users that want to be in a high-quality, Class A facility, in a great infill location,” said IDVs Tyndall Yaap.
