IDI Logistics Buys Torrance Industrial for $22M
Atlanta-based IDI Logistics has purchased a 108,186-square-foot industrial investment property at 19145 Gramercy Pl. in Torrance, CA for $21.5 million.
The concrete tilt-up building is located on more than 5.5 acres of land in the South Bay industrial market.
The Klabin Company’s Todd Taugner, SIOR, Frank Schulz III, SIOR, and David Prior, SIOR, represented all parties in the transaction, including seller Alpine Electronics of America, who vacated its former U.S. HQ in a relocation to Auburn Hills, Michigan.
IDI plans a major refurbishment before placing the property on the market for lease.
According to Klabin’s Taugner, “This building is situated in an area full of global leaders in a number of industries with immediate access to the 405 and 110 freeways. IDI Logistics … has plans to completely reposition and refurbish the building for a future tenant, which we look forward to helping them secure.”
