Iconic Coronado Island Destination Acquired
Coronado, CA-based Kleege Enterprises acquired Coronado Island Assemblage, an entire city block on Orange Avenue, for $22 million. The nine parcels, which have been assembled over the past 40 years, encompass 29,665 square feet of retail buildings situated on a little more than 1.1 acres.
The center is 100% leased to an internet-resistant mix of seasoned tenants, including Mootime Creamery, Leroy’s Kitchen and Costa Azul. Short-term lease structures also offer opportunities for the new owner to explore reconfiguring the Coronado Island property for other uses.
CBRE’s Tim Kuruzar, Ken McLeod and Matthew Perlmutter represented the buyer, as well as the private local family seller.
