HTG Appoints Michael Sheitelman COO

Miami-based affordable housing developer HTG has appointed Michael Sheitelman as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Sheitelman will oversee all of HTG’s real estate functions, including acquisition, entitlement, development, construction, legal, development finance and property management teams. He will report to CEO Matthew Rieger.

Prior to joining HTG, Sheitelman served as General Counsel for Crescent Heights, an urban real estate development firm with offices across the country. Prior to that, he was a shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale office of Gray Robinson, PA, where he represented clients in all legal aspects involved in the acquisition, financing, development, construction, leasing and sale of various classes of real estate.

“As a highly trained and accomplished attorney who I have known personally for many years and who has held a key leadership role in a national real estate development firm, Michael is ideally suited to serve as COO at HTG and will play a pivotal role in the firm’s continued expansion into other markets throughout the U.S. where there is a critical need for affordable, workforce and market-rate housing,” said Rieger. “We’re delighted to welcome him to the HTG family.”
