Hospital Coming to Pflugerville

Baylor Scott & White will be building a new hospital in the Austin suburb of Pflugerville, TX. Preliminary development plans were submitted to the city’s planning office, providing information that the hospital would be at 2600 E. Pflugerville Pkwy. Approximately 148.8 acres has been rezoned at Pflugerville Parkway and SH 130 for that purpose.

A construction or completion date was not disclosed, with Baylor Scott & White indicating it was working with the city on opportunities to expand its presence in the city. “We are always looking for opportunities to increase access and provide quality health care to more Texans,” the company said in a statement issued to Community Impact Newsletter.

Pflugerville’s population expanded from 5,811 people in 1990 to 53,752 as of 2013.
