Home Improvement Co-op Will Move HQ to Fort Wayne Redevelopment

Do It Best Corp. recently signed a letter of intent (LOI) to locate its corporate headquarters at RTM Ventures’ upcoming Electric Works redevelopment in Fort Wayne, IN. The LOI calls for Do It Best, a home improvement supplies cooperative, to occupy nearly 200,000 square feet and expand by 20,000 square feet as necessary.

“Cultivating entrepreneurship, innovation and job creation is critical to Fort Wayne and Indiana’s future,” said RTM’s Josh Parker. “Successful public-private partnerships can create the right place to help employers to attract and retain talent, which is the currency of economic development.”

He added, “Electric Works presents a compelling home for growing and established technology-driven companies like Do it Best; their presence at Electric Works will help provide the foundation for bringing the community’s vision of a district of energy, innovation and culture to life.”

Construction at Electric Works is expected to begin this summer.

Connect Industrial Midwest is coming to Rosemont, IL on March 4. For more information, or to register, click here.
