Hollywood Mixed-Use Project In the Works

Champion Real Estate Company just sold a fully entitled 1.75-acre parcel in Hollywood for just under $40 million to MCREF Highland & Selma LLC, an affiliate of the Dallas-based Mill Creek Residential Trust.

At 1600 N. Highland and 1600 N. McCadden, the site is entitled for a Hollywood mixed-use project with 248 multifamily units and 13,000 square feet of commercial real estate on the bottom floor. Greg Beck, a partner with Champion Real Estate, said that it’s a great value-add transaction with apartments in heavy demand in the area.

CBRE’s Curtis Palmer brokered the deal for both the buyer and seller.
