Holland-Led Team Breaks Ground on 44-Story Resi Tower in Seattle’s SLU
A development team led by Holland Partner Group broke ground on the 44-story 2019 Boren residential tower in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. The new mixed-use project will include 410 apartment units and three levels of commercial space, as well as a ground floor performing arts hall and art gallery created exclusively for Cornish College of the Arts.
Holland Partner Group’s Tom Parsons says “This started with a meeting with the leadership of Cornish College of the Arts in May of 2016, to think about what might be possible with this incredible location in the heart of Seattle. The groundbreaking is a significant milestone for all of us and we couldn’t be any more excited about what’s to come.”
The developers plan to pursue LEED Silver certification and anticipates completing construction in Spring 2022. Other members of the team are North American Sekisui House and Cornish College of the Arts.
