Hines Breaks Ground on New Office for McKesson in Jacksonville

Hines broke ground on a new 125,000-square-foot Class A office building for McKesson’s Medical-Surgical business within Southside Quarter, the Houston-based firm’s signature mixed-use development in Jacksonville, FL. The new facility is the first of multiple planned office buildings within Southside Quarter, and will consist of four stories with a modern design and attractive glass accent features.

Southside Quarter will blend office, residential, hotel, retail, and commercial uses in an integrated live, work and play environment. Southside Quarter is projected to have up to 350,000 square feet of office, 1,100 residential units, 140 hotel rooms and 100,000 square feet of restaurant and retail.

Designed by Atlanta’s Rule Joy Trammel + Rubio, the project at J.T. Butler Boulevard and I-295 is planned as a LEED Silver and WELL certified building, with high visibility, excellent lake views and walkability to Southside Quarter’s mix of uses. SunTrust Bank is providing the construction financing.
