Two Dallas-based firms, Hillwood and The Howard Hughes Corp., are joining forces to develop a 130-acre mixed-use development at the Perot family’s Circle T Ranch, a 2,500-acre mixed-use, master planned community in Westlake, TX. The proposed $1-billion project includes more than two million square feet of office, retail and entertainment space in north Fort Worth.

Hillwood Properties’ Mike Berry says “Circle T Ranch represents a watershed moment in the 27-year history of AllianceTexas,” an 18,000-acre master-planned, mixed-use community.

The Westlake project will be anchored by the 500,000-square-foot corporate campus for the Charles Schwab Corp.

The development includes 1.2 million square feet of combined Class A mid-rise office, as well as a 200-room hotel and residential options. The Gensler-designed project also includes parks, open space and nature trails.
