Hendricks Buys Another Delafield Building

Hendricks Commercial further widened its Delafield, WI footprint with the acquisition of its 15th building in the downtown area. The Beloit, WI-based investor acquired the two-story office building at 711 Wells St. from Villard Co. Inc. in Brookfield, WI for $1.1 million.

Hendricks Commercial entered the Delafield market in 2015 with the acquisition of the Delafield Hotel, which was in receivership at the time. Then, last May, the company bought 12 downtown buildings from area developer Jason Steiner. Also acquired was a fitness center building.

“It’s really a vibrant little urban community,” said Rob Gerbitz, Hendricks Commercial CEO. “It’s not big or anything like that, but it has a great vibe to it.” Delafield is approximately 30 miles west of Milwaukee.
