Hello Living Acquires Site for 1st Bronx Project
Hello Living has acquired 1049 Washington Ave. in the Bronx’s Morrisania section, with plans to reevelop it into a 104-unit condominium community known as Hello W. It will be the developer’s second project outside of its native Brooklyn.
“Through the acquisition of 1049 Washington, Hello W marks a new chapter for us in this dynamic Bronx neighborhood,” said Hello Living founder Eli Karp. “This property is an optimal location, in an energetic part of the South Bronx.”
Each residence, from studios to four bedrooms, will feature triple-pane windows and doors, stainless steel appliances, and the developer’s signature floor-through units with front and back terraces. Hello W will also include 27,065 square feet of retail space.
Since its founding in 2005, Hello Living has developed 13 projects in Brooklyn. Earlier this month, it acquired a site for its first project outside the borough, in Northern Manhattan’s Inwood neighborhood.
