Heineken Makes Room for Teamwork

Heineken USA merged two office locations into its redesigned White Plains, NY headquarters, and still found more space for its employees to interact as a team.

“Creating an open and collaborative environment was our primary goal for Heineken’s new office design,” said Scott Spector, a principal of Spector Group, which designed the space for Heineken.

The redesigned, 60,000-square-foot headquarters at 360 Hamilton Ave. converted all dedicated office spaces to meeting and team rooms. A centrally located café encourages spontaneous interaction and increases the sense of community. Platforms around the base of the staircase provide a casual breakout environment for employees to enjoy coffee or lunch together.
