Healthcare Trust Snags San Diego Senior Housing Asset

New York-based Healthcare Trust Inc. acquired Felicita Vida, a 91-unit, 117-bed assisted living and memory care community in Escondido, CA. The asset was sold by San Diego-based Torrey Pines Development Group.

The North County San Diego Class A community was built in 2015 and represents one of the highest quality and newest construction projects in the area. The two-story property sits on a well-manicured 4.3-acre site, and incorporates Spanish and Southwestern architectural elements. The unit mix is comprised of 53 assisted living units and 38 memory care units totaling 64 beds.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Rick Swartz, Jay Wagner, Aaron Rosenzweig, Dan Baker, Tim Hosmer and Bailey Nygard advised the seller.

Rosenzweig says, “Felicita Vida represents a premier offering in its market, and is well-positioned to be a top performer for years to come.”
