Hamilton Zanze Snags 196-Unit Virginia Beach Apartment Community

San Francisco-based real estate firm Hamilton Zanze has acquired Indigo 19, a 196-unit, five-story apartment community in Virginia Beach. The sales price was not disclosed.

Located at 1940 Pavilion Dr., the community features an average unit size of 931 square feet. Amenities include a resort-style pool, grilling stations, a two-story clubhouse, fitness center and valet dry cleaning. The neighborhood was built in 2013 and was 95% occupied at the time of the sale. Hamilton Zanze plans to implement a capital improvements plan which will address general roof maintenance, fire and life safety improvements, and HVAC maintenance.

Property management responsibilities have been transferred to Denver-based multifamily management company Mission Rock Residential. The seller was not disclosed.
