Habitat Assumes Management at 18 CHA Complexes

The Habitat Company has assumed management of 18 Chicago Housing Authority (CHA)-owned affordable housing communities across the city’s South and West Sides. The properties add 4,479 rental units to the portfolio of the Habitat Affordable Group.

“Our longstanding partnership with the Chicago Housing Authority has been mutually beneficial, and we are honored that the CHA continues to entrust us with the property management of their communities,” said Kimberly Sisney, VP at Habitat Affordable. “We have doubled our support staff at the Chicago regional office” to provide customer service for the additional communities.

The 18 CHA properties now under Habitat’s management include Long Life, Patrick Sullivan Apartments, Albany Terrace Apartments, Fannie Emmanuel, Irene McCoy Gaines, Lorraine Hansberry, Alfred Barnett Duster, Las Americas, Armour Square, Elizabeth Davis, Lincoln Perry Apts., Mary Jane Richardson-Jones, Ada S. Dennison-McKinley, Kenneth Campbell Apartments, Vivian Carter, Minnie Riperton Apartments, Judge Slater Apartments and Major Robert Lawrence Apartments.
