Greystar Lands Thor Equities Houston Assignment

New York-based Thor Equities selected Greystar to market and lease the Residences at Kirby Collection, a 25-story luxury residential tower in Houston’s Upper Kirby District. The one-million-square-foot mixed-use development, near the iconic River Oaks neighborhood, is scheduled for completion in September 2017.

Thor Equities’ Melissa Gliatta says the Residences at Kirby Collection “has received strong advance interest from prospective tenants who are drawn to the building’s exclusive features, contemporary lifestyle, and spectacular views of the Houston skyline.”

Residences at Kirby Collection encompass 199 rental units, with 21 different floor plans including townhomes with private entrances, garden lofts, and penthouse apartments. The 385,000-square-foot residential tower will overlook a landscaped clubhouse deck, with more than an acre of landscaped amenities including a pool, cabanas, fitness center, business center and lounge area.

The development also includes a 13-story, 186,000-square-foot office building, and two levels of retail space totaling 65,000 square feet.
