Greensheet Printing Plant Sells in Redeveloping Community

Helen Gordon Interests Ltd., founder of the Greensheet, sold 40,000 square feet of industrial space, situated on 6.2 acres, at 1690 North Loop West in Houston. The buyer, GSD North Loop 610 LLC, plans to build a self-storage facility on a portion of the property.

The building and site served for 20 years as the print shop for the Greensheet, a weekly shopping publication. Todd Mason, Jeff Lindenberger, Richard Mason and Taylor Wilson with Avison Young represented the seller in the transaction.

Wilson noted that the property is adjacent to the Houston Farmers Market, which has been in place for about 80 years. Additionally, “the renovations that are underway in this area will have a positive impact on the community for generations to come,” he added.
