Greenberg Traurig Relocating to SL Green’s One Vanderbilt
SL Green Realty Corp. signed a four-floor lease with Greenberg Traurig at One Vanderbilt Avenue in New York, where it will relocate its NY area operations. The law firm’s 15-year deal is for between 130,000 to 140,000 square feet at the $3.1-billion, 1.7 million-square-foot tower under development at the doorstep to Grand Central Terminal.
SL Green’s Marc Holliday says, “Greenberg Traurig could have gone anywhere in New York and made a major statement by choosing to stay in East Midtown, reflecting the incredible demand we’re seeing for new construction in the most commuter-friendly location in the city.”
The 1,401-foot skyline-shaping One Vanderbilt, slated to deliver Q3 2020, already has commitments from German financial titans DZ and DVB Banks, as well as TD Bank and celebrated chef Daniel Boulud.
NKF’s Barry Gosin and Moshe Sukenik represented the tenant. CBRE’s Ryan Alexander, Emily Jones and Sarah Pontius advised the landlord.
