Gramercy Acquires Amazon Jacksonville Fulfillment Facility
New York-based Gramercy Property Trust Inc. acquired the recently-completed Amazon.com fulfillment center in Jacksonville’s Cecil Commerce Center from Hillwood Investment Properties for nearly $95.5 million. The one-million-square-foot facility was developed by Hillwood Development Co., the master developer of the city-owned project.
The center, which opened in October 2017, is one of four Amazon facilities in Jacksonville. The site is located along 103rd Street on Jacksonville’s Westside.
Cecil Commerce Center is a 4,700-acre master-planned industrial business park with shovel-ready sites, and multimodal connections adjacent to Cecil Field airport, the former Naval Air Station Cecil Field.
New York Life Insurance Co. issued a $59.3-million mortgage.
