Google’s Plans for CBRE Global Investors’ Asset Take Shape

Google has filed building permits at 222 Caspain Dr. in Moffett Park, the 1,100-acre Sunnyvale, CA campus where the tech giant already occupies several buildings. The 96,420-square-foot transit-oriented facility, located less than a block from a light-rail station, is owned by Los Angeles-based CBRE Global Investors.

Recently, the property underwent a complete overhaul, including a dramatic two-story modern lobby and expansive window line, new interiors featuring open space with drop ceilings, and indoor-outdoor lunch room and dining terrace, as well as showers and lockers for employees.

Google and CBRE Global investors didn’t comment on what may be planned for the vacant space, but recent construction permits reveal plans for interior improvements including a cafeteria, office space and fitness center.
