Golub Team Previews Tribune Tower Condos

Golub & Company’s Lee Golub and Jeanne Martini recently offered a preview of the redeveloped Tribune Tower, which formerly housed the Chicago Tribune and now will contain residential condominiums. Locally-based Golub is partnering with Los Angeles-based CIM Group on the project, which involves the Tribune Tower along with three attached, low-rise buildings.

In a tour of a model unit and sales gallery near the project, Golub described what made the Tribune Tower redevelopment work. First was the “iconic building in a setting you can’t get anywhere else in the city,” along the Michigan Avenue riverfront.

Second was the low-rise, eastern portion of the complex. Third was the tower’s Gothic architecture, which presents opportunities to create handsome spaces both indoors and out. Terraces, either for an individual unit or for all residents of the building, top the complex’s old five-story WGN Radio building at Illinois Street and Michigan Avenue.

Connect Chicago Fall 2019 will take place Oct. 29 in Chicago. For more information, or to register, click here.
