Goldie Initiative Will Hold Virtual Gala Fundraiser

The Goldie Initiative’s annual Goldie Gala fundraiser will be a virtual event to take place on its originally scheduled date of Sept. 17. Last year’s Goldie Gala raised a record $580,000. Launched in 2007, the Goldie Initiative is named for Goldie Wolfe Miller, a renowned CRE broker and entrepreneur.

The organization launched its fundraising efforts on June 18 with a Gala Kick-off event. Participants received a “sneak peek” of the sponsorship materials and received information on logistics for the virtual event.

The Virtual Goldie Gala will have several objectives:
• Highlighting the Goldie Initiative’s mission: to prepare women for senior leadership roles in commercial real estate.
• Honoring Colliers International’s Lynn Reich, the Goldie Initiative’s 2020 Goldie Gala Shero
• Helping connect the organization’s constituents to Goldie Scholars and Alumnae through a “unique networking experience”; and
• Recognizing sponsors that make the group’s work possible.
