Global Net Lease Strikes Acquisition Deal Valued at $3.3B

Global Net Lease Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all outstanding stock of American Realty Capital Global Trust II Inc. for approximately $247 million. The resulting net real estate investment trust will end up with an expected enterprise value of approximately $3.3 billion.

Global Net Lease and Global Trust II are New York City-based REITs dedicated to acquiring international portfolios, with an emphasis on sale-leaseback transactions involving single tenants. The merger, anticipated to close before the end of this year, is expected to boost scale and benefit portfolio metrics for both companies.
