Global Manufacturer Plans $17M Expansion

Indevco Plastics, headquartered in Ajaltoun, Lebanon, is readying to expand its Longview, TX plant at 800 Jordan Valley Road. The plan calls for a $15 million to $17 million expansion that could add as many as 24 new jobs in this East Texas city.

Indevco accepted a $650,000 incentive package from the Longview Economic Development Corp. (LEDCO) in 2014 to invest $13.2 million and create 18 jobs. According to Robert Laird, the company’s executive vice president of operations, the investment has reached $15 million. And, according to LEDCO, the company currently employs 58.

Indevco manufactures plastic film for the packaging industry, and operates plants in the U.S., Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Greece, Ghana, Iraq and Cyprus.
