Gilbane Tapped for 500K-SF Waltham Lab Assignment

Commercial property management and development firm Hobbs Brook Management selected Gilbane Building Co. as construction manager for 225 Wyman Street, a new 500,000-square-foot office and lab development in Waltham. The property will be the largest contiguous Class A office building constructed along the route 128 corridor.

The five-story building was designed by Genseler to be capable of satisfying both laboratory, research and development, as well as traditional office needs. The site will feature both paved and permeable walkways, seating areas and landscaped courtyards.

Construction will begin this month and is expected to be completed in 2021. JLL is serving as leasing agent at the property.
