Georgia Nut Cracks Open 123K-SF Renewal
Colliers International | Chicago’s Chris Volkert represented Georgia Nut Company, manufacturers of nuts and candy since 1945, in its 123,000-square-foot renewal at 7500 Linder Ave. in Skokie, IL.
Less than a mile from the Touhy/I-94 interchange, the industrial food processing facility features eight docks and 23’ clear ceiling height. In addition, there is 9,000 square feet of office space and a retail store.
“The unique, existing ‘food’ infrastructure, access to distribution channels and a significant customer base, made this an easy decision,” said Volkert.
The renewal also allowed Georgia Nut to secure significant tenant improvements for its operations.
Colliers’ Ned Frank and Pat Hake represented the owner, LINK, in the transaction.
