Georgetown Names EY Veteran Chawla as CFO

Owner-developer The Georgetown Company has appointed Vishal Chawla as its new CFO. Chawla, who previously served for 23 years at Ernst & Young as part of the firm’s real estate services team takes over the CFO role from longtime Georgetown Company executive Robin Rasamny, who is retiring after nearly 40 years with the firm.

Daniel Gohari, who has spent the last three years as controller for The Georgetown Company, will also take on the additional role of CFO for Park Madison Property Management, Georgetown’s property management arm.

“Vishal has built a stellar reputation as a trusted advisor to industry leaders for his work on many significant real estate transactions and we know his experience will be invaluable,” said Georgetown CEO Adam Flatto. “We’re also thrilled to congratulate Dan on his very well-deserved promotions, which reflect the great work he has done for the firm over the past years.”
