George Smith Partners Adds Davies to Executive Committee

L.A.-based George Smith Partners (GSP) has promoted principal and managing director Malcolm Davies to join fellow principals and managing directors Jonathan Lee and Shahin Yazdi in leading the firm’s executive committee overseeing day-to-day strategy and operations. Davies originally joined GSP in 2011.

As a member of the GSP management team, Davies will help drive the firm’s big picture goals, while remaining active in leading his transactional team, The Davies Group. A key component of Davies’ development vision for GSP includes an increased focus on private events for lenders and investors.

According to Gary Tenzer, GSP principal and co-founder, “The company’s principals agree that Malcolm has the unique leadership skills to help lead GSP’s future direction and to help our clients benefit from the ever-changing capital markets.”

The full roster of GSP principals includes Davies, Tenzer, Yazdi, Lee, Steve Bram, Antonio Hachem, Gary Mozer and Bryan Shaffer.
