GBT Planning 28-Acre Retail in Missouri
GBT Realty Corp., based in Tennessee, is planning a late-summer groundbreaking on the 28-acre Shoppes of Mid Rivers in St. Peters, MO. The development, across from Mid Rivers Mall, will be located on Interstate 70, approximately 20 miles northwest of St. Louis.
The project has room for three retail anchors, and sites for more than a dozen smaller tenants. Tenant openings are slated for fall 2017. Jeff Pape, managing director for GBT’s shopping center division, said the company expects to lease remaining space in the project, while finalizing negotiations at the upcoming RECon show. He declined to name the existing tenants.
Shoppes at Mid Rivers is GBT’s second area project. The company is also planning a mixed-use project in Clayton, MO, which calls for 537,000 square feet of retail, office and residential space.
