Flix Entertainment Enters San Antonio

Flix Entertainment filed paperwork to build its first movie theater and brewery in San Antonio. The Round Rock, TX-based entertainment company is planning to build a 39,000-square-foot center at 345 Loop 1604 and Potranco Road on the far west side, the site of a potential future shopping center.

Construction on the project is expected to cost $8.3 million. The filing shows that construction will start on 5.9 acres this month, and end in May 2019.

The company recently announced it would be putting another theater in Hutto, TX, at the Co-Op District, and is planning additional locations in Houston, El Paso and Oklahoma City. Flix Brewhouse opened its first location in Round Rock, TX.
