FIS Subleases from Macmillan at 1 New York Plaza

Fidelity Information Services has signed a lease for approximately 35,000 square feet of office space at Brookfield Properties’ 1 New York Plaza in a sublease brokered by Colliers International’s Leon Manoff, John Pavone and Sayo Kamara. The team secured the sublease on behalf of Macmillan Publishers.

Known familiarly as FIS and headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, the subtenant will occupy a major portion of the 45th floor in the 50-story office tower at Manhattan’s southern tip. NKF’s Daniel Katcher represented FIS, whose sublease runs through 2031.

“Quickly securing a top-notch tenant at this exceptional property was a priority for our client,” said Manoff. “We are pleased that we were able to complete this transaction that includes favorable terms on an accelerated timeline.”

Built in 1969 and formerly occupied by Salomon Brothers and Goldman Sachs, 1 New York Plaza today counts Morgan Stanley and law firm Fried Frank among its major tenants.
