Findlay, OH Dubbed Top Micropolitan
Site Selection Magazine’s recent listing of micropolitans placed Findlay, OH at the top of the list. The magazine ranked the region number one because of its long-term track record of securing commercial real estate deals and investments.
The White House’s Office of Management and Budget defines a micropolitan statistical area as one or more adjacent counties with at least one urban core area, containing a population of 10,000-50,000.
Findlay, in northwestern Ohio, has a population of 42,000.
According to Site Selection, Findlay has consistently secured major corporate facility investments, ranking among the magazine’s top 10 at least 10 times. It secured 26 investment deals last year. It is home to Cooper Tire, Marathon Petroleum and Whirlpool dishwashers.
