Fifield Adds 4 Food, Retail Tenants to Logan Square Apts.

Chicago-based Fifield Companies signed leases with three restaurants and one retailer to occupy ground-floor space at Logan Apartments, located at 2480 – 2522 N. Milwaukee Ave., in the North Side’s Logan Square neighborhood.

Big Wig Tacos, Jersey Mike’s Subs, K-Fire Korean BBQ and Verizon will occupy a combined total of 6,800 square feet, joining Target Corp. as ground-floor tenants. Target signed a lease in April 2018 for a 27,000-square-foot, small-format store that will serve as the building’s retail anchor.

“The ground floor retail at Logan Apartments is as much about serving the surrounding neighborhood as it is about offering convenience to building residents, and the mix of retailers is shaping up to meet the needs of all those who live and work across this fast-growing neighborhood,” said Lindsey Senn, EVP at Fifield, which is co-developing the 220-unit transit-oriented development with Terraco Real Estate. It’s slated to open in spring 2020.
