Fibrix Sells 310K-SF Portfolio in Sale-Leaseback Deal

Fibrix LLC sold a four-property, 310,000-square-foot Texas and North Carolina portfolio to STORE Capital. The deal, a sale/leaseback transaction, keeps the tenant in the properties through long-term leases. CBRE’s Andrew Sandquist, J.C. Asensio, Briggs Goldberg and Tyrell McGee represented the seller/lessee in the transaction.

The properties are located at:

  • 1002 N. Ellis, Groesbeck, TX
  • 900 N. S.H. 14, Mexia, TX
  • 101 Tar Heel Rd., Charlotte, NC
  • 1004 Bucks Industrial Rd., Statesville, NC

“This transaction will supply Fibrix with a significant amount of growth capital, and allow the firm to pay down some of its corporate debt,” said Fibrix’s Darren White.

Fibrix, headquartered in Conover, NC, manufactures and distributes non-woven materials for filtration, bedding and automotive purposes. Added Sandquist with CBRE: “The buyer will receive a very stable long-term investment. It is a win-win for both parties.”
