Ferber Co. Breaks Ground at Durbin Creek Crossing MXU Project in Jacksonville
Privately-held real estate development and investment company Ferber Co. has broken ground on Durbin Creek Crossing, a 70-acre mixed-use development in Jacksonville.
Vallencourt Construction Co. began work on the project July 1. When completed, the development will feature the second Aldi in St. Johns County as well as retailers ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, First Florida Credit Union and Tire Kingdom.
“Durbin Creek Crossing is the ideal site to support this type of development,” said Tom Mundy, vice president of retail development services at Ferber Co. “With the latest addition of Burger King and DHI Communities as the multi-family developer, we’ve created an attractive mixed-use project for the northwest sector of St Johns County.”
Tyler Nilsson of Newmark Knight Frank assisted with brokering the deal between DHI Communities and The Ferber Company.
