Ferber Announces Tenant Line-Up at Retail Development in Jacksonville

Real estate development and investment company Ferber Co. announced the initial tenant line-up at Brooklyn Place, an 11,500-square-foot retail development in downtown Jacksonville.

The nearly two-acre site, which has been vacant for decades, is adjacent to Regency Center’s Brooklyn Station retail development. The initial tenant line-up at Brooklyn Place will include Panera Bread, Chipotle and Bento Asian Kitchen + Sushi. Ferber expects to acquire the site by mid-summer and immediately commence construction. The center is slated for completion by summer 2020.

“In keeping with the established design and architecture of the area, creating a pedestrian-friendly development that connects with the community has been our top priority,” said Tom Mundy, vice president of retail development services at Ferber. “We expect the amenities that we have lined-up for Brooklyn Place to appeal to both nearby residents as well as daytime workers taking advantage of the attractive streetscapes along the Riverside Avenue pedestrian promenade.”
