Fast Park Doubles Capacity at Midway Airport Facility

Offsite airport parking company Fast Park recently completed a nearly 400-space expansion at its location serving Chicago Midway International Airport. The expansion will nearly double the facility’s capacity in time for the holiday travel season.

The firm’s Melanie Chavez said demand for parking at Midway Fast Park has been substantial since the facility’s opening in December 2018. “We anticipate that the demand for indoor, heated parking will greatly increase during the winter months, and this expansion will enable Midway Fast Park to accommodate travelers looking for a convenient and hassle-free parking experience,” she added.

Although it’s smaller in scale than the $8.5-billion expansion underway at the North Side’s O’Hare International Airport, the Midway Modernization Program is also implementing upgrades at the South Side facility. The Chicago Department of Aviation says the MMP is the airport’s largest improvement program in nearly 20 years.
