Extell Launches Sales on World’s Tallest Resi Tower

Extell Development Company has launched sales for Central Park Tower, the tallest residential building in the world. The property rises 1,550 feet above a stretch of West 57th Street known as Billionaire’s Row, and will house Nordstrom’s 320,000-square-foot flagship store at its base.

“Over a decade of planning and collaboration with the world’s most talented architects, engineers and designers has resulted in Manhattan’s newest iconic structure,” said Gary Barnett, Extell’s founder and president. “This building will stand out in New York City history as the singular residential offering that redefined luxury living.”

Extell is co-developing Central Park Tower with SMI USA, the U.S. subsidiary of Shanghai Municipal Investment, the infrastructural investment company responsible for Shanghai Tower, the world’s second tallest building. Extell Marketing Group will exclusively handle the sales and marketing for Central Park Tower, with first closings slated for late 2019.
