Expanding Semiconductor Manufacturer Inks Office Lease with ViaWest

Phoenix-based ViaWest Group signed a 46,735-square-foot office lease with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) at the Canyon Corporate Plaza office campus in Phoenix. The deal marks one of the largest office commitments in the Valley since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Located at 2510 W. Dunlap Ave., the building sits in North Phoenix’s Interstate 17 corridor, not far from a planned TSMC manufacturing facility. The semiconductor manufacturer recently secured 1,129 acres to build a $12-billion factory in North Phoenix.

ViaWest’s Danny Swancey says, “This lease gives TSMC the institutional-quality office space and the geographic and operational proficiencies they need to ramp up their operations in Phoenix ahead of their plant delivery. Canyon Corporate Plaza is an iconic office campus that – like we did with Biltmore Center – is undergoing renovations that will modernize the project for 21st century tenants.”

CBRE’s David Barrett represented the tenant. JLL’s John Bonnell, Brett Abramson, Chris Latvaaho and Ryan Timpani represented the landlord.
