Ewing Properties Prepares to Build 72K SF in Dallas Design District

Ewing Properties Texas will begin construction in October on 101-135 Glass St., a 72,000-square-foot, two-building commercial project in the Dallas Design District. The Dallas developer tore down an aging manufacturing building to make way for the new project.

One of the two-story buildings near the Trinity River levee has been leased to Planet Granite; the tenant is taking 42,000 square feet for a rock-climbing and fitness facility. According to Ewing Properties’ website, the asking rate for the remaining space is $22-per-square-foot, triple net.

Tanner Ewing, who heads Ewing Properties, told the Dallas Morning News that the company had started buying property in the area in 2011. “The area has really changed since then, and the price point has grown so much,” he said.
