Evo Entertainment Planning 73K-SF Center in Schertz

Evo Entertainment Group unveiled construction of its newest cinema-entertainment center as part of the Wiederstein Ranch shopping center in Schertz, TX. The 73,000-square-foot development will offer a 10-screen, dine-in movie theater, as well as 16 bowling lanes, arcade games, laser tag, a virtual reality experience center, full restaurant and bar, and private event spaces. The San Marcos, TX-based developer indicated that construction will begin immediately, with opening planned for February 2019.

“Our company has called Central Texas home since the very beginning, and Schertz has always seemed like a perfect match,” said company CEO Mitchell Roberts. Schertz is in the far northwest corner of the San Antonio metro.

Evo launched in 2014 with 11 screens in one location. Today, the company owns and operates 50 screens, 22 bowling lanes, two full-service restaurant/bars and 200 video/redemption/classic arcade games in four locations.
