Evergreen Proposes Terraces at New River MF in Glendale

Bainbridge Island WA-based Evergreen Investment Company proposed developing a linear 16-acre site in Glendale west of the Loop 101 at Bell Road. The Terraces at New River is planned for 418 residential units.

The unit mix of 200 one-bedroom, 194 two-bedroom and 24 three-bedroom units would be spread across a mix of three- and four-story buildings. On-site amenities include a clubhouse and leasing office, dog park, two pool areas, a cabana building, pedestrian trails and open green space.

The vacant site, which had previously been proposed as an office park, and surrounding properties have been zoned with the Palm Valley Business Park PAD since 2007.

The developer envisions creating a high-quality multifamily development to support land uses in the area that promote an urban environment. The empty “donut hole” site is roughly 1,000 feet long and 120-200 feet wide and encompasses seven overlapping parcels with development occurring all around it.
