Event Pavilion Slated for $11M Facelift

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, TX will be undergoing a round of renovations in the coming off-season. The upgrades, which include renovation of two canopy entries, and addition of a new VIP club, loading dock and operations building, will cost $11 million.

Construction will begin late this month, with the majority of the renovations completed by spring. PGAL Architecture is overseeing the design, and Mission Constructors is the general contractor.

The pavilion at 2005 Lake Robbins Dr. opened in 1990. Since that time, seating capacity has been increased to more than 16,000 (from the original 3,000) and a new roof was installed.
